About Gregg
Gregg Parkin specialises in Commercial Dispute Resolution and Insolvency. Gregg is a Solicitor Advocate and has qualified with Higher Rights of Audience meaning that he is able to appear as an advocate in the High Court and above.
Gregg has experience in a range of matters including insurance, professional negligence, breach of contract, partnership disputes and property disputes. He has experience in High Court and County Court litigation acting for both claimants and defendants, as well as experience in the First-Tier Property Tribunal.

Gregg is currently involved in a number of high value business interruption insurance claims arising out of the impacts of COVID-19 and the recent FCA Test Case which culminated in the Supreme Court judgment handed down in January 2021.

- Acting in an insurance arbitration concerning business interruption losses in excess of £3.5million.
Expertise and experience:
- Successfully secured the strike-out of a spurious claim brought against a client in the County Court and obtained judgment on the counterclaim for substantial rental arrears.
- Acting for a company and two of its directors in relation to a claim brought by the joint liquidators of a company in relation to the alleged transfer of business and assets away from the company in liquidation.
- Advising in relation to a partnership dispute concerning a property partnership and a partnership in a family company, together valued at more than £13million.
- Successfully obtaining judgment in the High Court in relation to a claim for delivery-up of files unlawfully retained by a client’s former solicitor.
- Advising in relation to a cross-border dispute concerning an Option Agreement for the purchase of a foreign company.
- Acting in relation to a number of disputes surrounding the execution of personal guarantees by company directors and their partners for the liabilities of the company.
