Two local lawyers at national law practice Freeths have been shortlisted for the Legal 500 UK awards 2019.
Run by the publishers of the renowned series of independent guides to the legal profession, the awards are made to elite legal practitioners, based on extensive research into the UK legal market - involving over 50,000 interviews with users of the firms and individual lawyers’ services.
Graham Greenfield, head of the dispute management team in Freeths’ Nottingham office has been shortlisted for the individual award for dispute resolution outside London, while James Dyson, who specialises in banking and debt restructuring transactions, is one of the lawyers selected in the finance category.
The winners will be announced at a celebratory lunch at the Guildhall, London on 6 February 2019.Freeths is identified in the recently published edition of the Legal 500 as a ‘Regional Heavyweight’ in the East Midlands, with both lawyers are highly ranked. The disputes team in Nottingham is referred to as: ‘Phenomenal in every respect’, with ‘a strong and respected presence in the East Midlands’, fielding a ‘close-knit team’ that impresses with its ‘outstanding depth of knowledge’. Graham Greenfield who leads the team has ‘vast depth of experience and knowledge’.
The banking and finance team, based in Birmingham, is seen by researchers as: ‘a firm clients want to work with’ with a ‘strong team of associates’. James Dyson ‘gives clear and concise advice’
