Horizon planning – looking at the key risk areas for the Food Sector coming out of the pandemic

Operations in the food sector during the pandemic are likely to have continued and in some cases grown exponentially. As we move out of the pandemic, this webinar will be looking at where the key risk areas sit for the food sector and how you can best prepare yourself for these.

The topics being covered in this webinar include:

  • Emma Brooksbank, Partner at Freeths and Immigration specialist, will be discussing the Government’s policy approach to workforce supply in the food sector, including the impact of the UK points-based immigration system, with EEA and non-EEA nationals coming under the new system, and the extension and expansion of the Seasonal Workers Scheme for 2021.

  • Paul Callum, Director – Resilient World Solutions, and Phil Shaw, Managing Director at Integworld Food Integrity Services Limited, will be looking at and helping you plan in respect of:

    • Food integrity;

    • Food compliance and ensuring compliance with commercial agreements;

    • Modern Slavery issues; and

    • General ESG considerations.
