Freeths advise BGF-backed Hydrock on two acquisitions

 

Freeths Birmingham Corporate Team have advised BGF-backed Hydrock on its recent acquisitions of 3e Consulting Engineers and Complete Design Partnership. These acquisitions will further strengthen and expand Hydrock's multi-disciplinary consulting offering and now take Hydrock to three acquisitions completed within the last 18 months.

Founded in 2001, 3e Consulting Engineers has a 30-strong team and provides consultancy in civil, geo-environmental and structural engineering for property projects in the UK and internationally, operating from offices in Wakefield and Newcastle. Founded in 1994, Complete Design Partnership has a 15-strong team and provides full design and detailing consultancy services in the residential, commercial, industrial, and logistics and distribution (L&D) sectors in the UK and internationally, operating from offices in Worcestershire. Hydrock is a leading integrated engineering, energy and sustainability consultancy, specialising in creating climate resilient solutions for a wide range of infrastructure projects. With over 800 employees, Hydrock operates in 21 locations both in the UK and internationally. Hydrock have had eight consecutive years in the 100 Best Companies listings. The deal team, which included specialist lawyers from across Freeths, was led by Mohammed Abbas with the support of Katherine Ferrari-Bradley, whilst client relationship director Ateeq Ahmed supported the team in the delivery of the transactions. Specialist lawyers included Laura Tracey (Employment), Alex Angelides (Tax), Kim Jones (Pensions), Alison Heathcote (Construction) and Nikki Guest (Property).
