Freeths re-appointed by EM Lawshare

EM LawShare, one of the largest local authority legal consortia in England and Wales has recently named their panel. Freeths are pleased to be re-appointed as one of the 10 law firms who will continue to advise over 220 public sector bodies for the next four years.

The consortium was set up in 2006 in the East Midlands and now has 220 members across England and Wales. Local authorities make up the majority of the membership, which also includes local authority companies, police forces, fire and rescue, housing organisations and NHS trusts. The EM Lawshare Framework, valued at £70m allows this group combined buying power so it can drive down rates to improve value for money and facilitate knowledge sharing. The legal consortium also provides a range of added value services delivered by the partner firms including the annual training programme.
