In the second of our webinars looking at the role of hydrogen in the energy transition, we take a closer look at hydrogen's potential in the transport sector.
Date: Tuesday 18th October Time: 11:00am - 12:00pm Location: Zoom
In 2021, the transport sector accounted for around 30% of all UK carbon emissions, so it is primed for intense decarbonisation. Whilst much has focussed on the role of batteries and electrification to achieve decarbonisation, there are scenarios where hydrogen will be better-placed to help the sector reach net zero. Join us to hear from our panel of speakers, including Dr Stuart Hillmansen, University of Birmingham, Patrick Warner, Lead Officer - Bus Decarbonisation, Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, a senior speaker from FAUN Zoeller and Liam O'Flynn, Iain Bowler, Tom Johnson from Freeths, to learn about the role that hydrogen can play in the transport sector (particularly rail and road), what is already happening in this space, and what to look out for in the coming years.
If you would like to submit any questions please do this by emailing thomas.williams@freeths.co.uk.Subtitles shown during our webinars are auto-generated from our provider Zoom.
