National law firm Freeths has advised the sellers of printing services company 3DPRINTUK to Solid Solutions.

Established in 2011, London-based 3DPRINTUK has grown significantly over the last decade, recently being named as one of FT1000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies, and attracted the interest of Solid Solutions, a leading technology and business solution partner for design engineers and manufacturers.

This deal will see 3DPRINTUK continue to operate under its existing brand under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer, Nick Allen, and Chief Financial Officer, Jef Shah. They will join the TriMech Group with end-to-end manufacturing solutions in the UK and North America.

The Freeths legal team was led by corporate partner Francis Dalton and managing associate Ewen Lowrie. They were supported by tax partner Claire Boyce, trainee solicitor Dhruv Shah and legal assistant Alice Smith.

Commenting on the deal, Jef Shah, Chief Financial Officer, said: “We are extremely grateful to Freeths for their exceptional support, responsiveness and guidance throughout the deal. Their expertise and dedication played a crucial role in facilitating this significant milestone for our company.”

Commenting on the deal, Francis Dalton, Partner, said: “We’re pleased to be a part of the exciting growth journey of 3D Print UK as the team has ambitious plans to expand and grow the business, building upon its rapid advancement since its formation.”
