Bristol legal teams collaborate on NMi Group’s strategic Acquisition of ExVeritas
National law firm Freeths has advised explosion safety specialist ExVeritas Limited on its strategic sale to NMi Group.
ExVeritas provides product certification, management system certification, CompEx certification and site safety services.
NMi Group, advised by Roxburgh Milkins, is a leader in mission-critical product Testing, Inspection, Certification and Calibration (TICC) services.
This transaction will help ExVeritas scale its operations more effectively, focussing on the business’s continued growth strategy.
For NMi, this marks a significant advancement in its strategy to enhance service offerings and expand its geographical footprint. The Netherlands based group are internationally recognised for mission-critical testing, inspection, certification and calibration services.
This collaboration, supported by the Bristol-based legal teams, will enhance the ability to deliver expanded services and meet the complex safety standards of clients in the energy and utilities, food and agriculture and industrial and manufacturing sectors.
The Freeths team was led by corporate managing associate Edward Chapman. He was supported by a multi-disciplinary team including Head of Corporate Leon Arnold and corporate trainees Ben Treasure, Kate Cooksey and Pippa Johnson; employment partner Laura Tracey and senior associate Sarah Bogues; tax partner Claire Boyce and trainee Dhruv Shah; the real estate team consisted of managing associate Emilie Criddle, and trainee Tom Roberts.
