Freeths advises ENSEK Ltd on its acquisition of Zoa Technologies

Freeths has advised ENSEK (recently acquired by Centrica plc) on its acquisition of Zoa Technologies.

Headquartered in Nottingham, ENSEK is a leading provider of digital transformation services in the energy sector. The acquisition is hot off completion of ENSEK’s sale to Centrica plc and now combines within the Centrica group ENSEK’s Ignition retail operating platform and Zoa’s home energy management platform. 

Freeths supported Centrica’s in-house team led by Andrew Zelouf (Director, M&A) and Tony Byrne (Corporate Counsel, M&A). Leading the Freeths team were Corporate Partners Emily Settle and Martin Smith, alongside Corporate Associate Charlotte Collard, IP Partner Iona Silverman, Employment Partner Laura Tracey, Commercial Senior Associate James Urmston, Real Estate Partner Michael Bray, and Corporate team members Ben Treasure, Jack Lewis and Victoria Naylor.
