As an expert in specialised cybersecurity backed by private equity firm FFL, Abacus Group has made this strategic decision to further strengthen its existing capabilities and presence across the UK market. This transaction will see Abacus Group and Tribeca work together to combine their experience, diversify their portfolios and scale their offerings.

The Freeths legal team was led by Corporate Partners Francis Dalton and Malin Svanberg Larsson supported by Managing Associate Ewen Lowrie, Senior Associate Henrietta Rendell and Associate Lottie Beange.

Francis Dalton said: "We were delighted to advise Abacus Group on this pivotal transaction which showcased the breadth of our international PE portfolio team. We enjoyed the collaboration with the excellent teams at Abacus and FFL and look forward to continuing to work together."

Commenting on the deal, Jonathan Bohrer from Abacus Group, added: “This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Abacus Group’s journey, and Freeths' role has been pivotal to ensuring its success. We are now enabled to grow our presence in key financial markets, particularly in the UK, aided by the expert and trusted advice provided by the Freeths team during this process.”
