Freeths Associate named Rising Star at Liverpool Law Society Awards
National law firm Freeths has recently celebrated Senior Associate Antonia Williamson, as she was presented with the Rising Star Award at the Liverpool Law Society Awards 2024.
These awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of law firms, legal departments and individuals across the region, by bringing together the city’s legal community for its annual presentation evening.
Antonia was nominated against stellar competition, including Donoghue Solicitors, DWF Law and Fletchers Solicitors, but was crowned winner for her unwavering commitment and dedication to the legal sector.
As part of her commitment, she is Chair of the Merseyside branch of Resolution. Resolution is a national body comprising family law professionals, dedicated to resolving disputes in a conciliatory way. She has been Chair of Liverpool’s branch since 2021.
Commenting on the win, Antonia Williamson said: “This award feels particularly exciting for me, as it’s been exactly ten years since I started working in Liverpool’s legal industry. It has been wonderful to train, qualify and work in this city, and I’m so grateful to my colleagues who joined the celebrations last night.”
President of Liverpool Law Society, Gaynor Williams, added: “Our Legal Awards not only celebrate the excellent talent we have within the legal sector – they shine a light on individuals and firms for their outstanding contributions and achievements. These awards highlight exceptional talent, innovative practices, and dedication to the rule of law.”
