Freeths London bolsters real estate offering with a number of strategic hires
National law firm Freeths has recruited a team of four lawyers into its London Real Estate team. They all join from Memery Crystal and include Daniel Abrahams and Craig Jones as Partners, Director Ayesha Qayum and Senior Associate Sophie Moonshine.
Daniel has over 20 years’ experience as a commercial real estate lawyer advising a broad range of high-profile clients with a primary focus on investment and development property and specialising in complex matters. He is ranked Tier 1 for Real Estate in Chambers and Partners.
Craig is a commercial real estate lawyer with over 12 years’ experience advising a diverse client base, including UK and overseas investors, landlords, tenants, developers and retailers, on a broad range of complex and high-value commercial property matters.
Their appointments come as the firm continues to strategically grow its real estate capabilities in the capital. The pair will work alongside Partner and National Head of Real Estate Darren Williamson to support Freeths’ quality, full-service approach across the UK.
Commenting on the appointments, Darren said: “These recent appointments are part of a wave of senior strategic hires in our London and other real estate teams, aiming to continue to strengthen our leading offering across the country. The extensive experience and drive for success which Daniel, Craig and the team bring, will enhance our solid platform in London as we look to continue to grow our real estate services during the changing economy under this new Labour Government.”
Daniel continued: “I am delighted to have started at Freeths. The depth of real estate capability and quality across all departments within the business makes it one of the most exciting firms in the country to be joining. I am excited to help drive forward the London Real Estate business in particular, and to offer the full range of the firms’ services to new and existing clients”.
Craig added: “Freeths’ real estate team has an excellent reputation for handling complex, high-value transactions and I am delighted to have joined the London Real Estate team at such an exciting time for the business.”
