Freeths wins Law firm of the Year 2024 at prestigious property awards

National law firm Freeths has been named Law Firm of the Year at the Insider Midlands Residential Property Awards 2024.

The esteemed awards celebrate the region’s talent and hard work displayed throughout the residential development sector with the firms and individuals who have excelled throughout the last 12 months being honoured.

Nominated alongside stellar competition including Shoosmiths, Gateley Legal and Gowling WLG, the Freeths Housebuilding & Strategic Land Team was praised by the judges for its full-service approach, managing complex transactions within short timeframes, and covering a wide variety of projects for landowners and developers.

Commenting on the firm’s success, Freeths’ National Head of Real Estate Darren Williamson said: “Being crowned winners at these awards is a testament to the hard work and collective efforts displayed by every member of our Real Estate team."

To receive recognition of this stature is a milestone achievement and is representational of many years of hard work – not just that of the last 12 months.

Freeths hopes to maintain this momentum moving forward by sustaining growth plans and leading the way for our clients.”

Patrick Adie, National Head of Housebuilding & Strategic Land, has also said: “This year, the shortlisted firms were all exceptional, so for us to have been recognised as winners is a wonderful accolade.

It’s been an outstanding year for us with many panel wins, significant growth of our team, involvement with some of the largest and most complex transactions in the region, and consistently excellent client feedback. This all results from the incredible contribution from everyone in the team - we are really proud of what we have achieved together.”
