Freeths advises European engineering giant on acquisition of EuroSite Power Limited

Leading law firm Freeths has advised TEDOM, a Czech engineering company, on its acquisition of EuroSite Power Limited.

TEDOM develops and manufactures CHP units and provides comprehensive energy services. The business installs photovoltaic power plants, provides support services for grid operators, and designs, builds and operates energy sources, with its own representation across the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Italy, the US and, of course, the UK.

UK-based EuroSite provides on-site utility solutions, delivering clean, reliable power, to institutional, commercial and small industrial facilities. The company aims to reduce energy costs and environmental impact through fully funded, innovative solutions.

Leading the Freeths team on this transaction was Partner Francis Dalton. He was supported by Associate Mia Broomhall and Legal Assistant Abby Imlah.

Commenting on the acquisition, Francis Dalton said: “We were delighted to partner with the excellent team at DRV legal on this transaction which will allow TEDOM to continue expanding its impressive portfolio and work towards driving innovation and success in the energy sector. This deal reinforces Freeths’ strengths with cross-border M&A transactions, and we look forward to seeing this new partnership flourish.”
