Freeths advises Midven on £10 million funding round for digital therapeutics group

Leading law firm Freeths has advised Midven on its further investment into digital therapeutics start-up, Strolll, as part of a £10 million funding round.

Founded five years ago, Strolll uses augmented reality glasses to assist people suffering from disorders such as Parkinson’s and MS. The company helps patients by using specially developed games to enliven physiotherapy exercises, both in clinical and residential environments.

This funding will allow Strolll to accelerate sales and marketing strategies, extend its product range, as well as give the business scope to target a wider range of neuro-related disorders.

Leading the Freeths team on this deal was Director, Michael McMahon.

Commenting on the transaction, Michael McMahon said: “We are so pleased to have advised Midven on this further funding, which will allow Strolll to positively impact the lives of so many people who are suffering with neurological disorders. This deal showcases Freeths’ corporate sector strengths in supporting VC investors and growth companies, as we continue to grow our national offering."
