Daniel is an experienced, Chartered Town Planner with over 5 years’ experience in both the public and private sector. Having worked on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, and varying schemes from the leisure sector to residential developments, offices and business parks. This included delivering one of the largest single permissions in a decade for a residential home park home estate. Daniel has been involved in working with clients with large portfolios, advising on strategies, future development opportunities and negotiating through the planning process.
Daniel seeks to work with Local Authorities to deliver planning permissions for clients. He is well versed in advising on a wide range of planning aspects, including; site appraisals; planning strategies; submission and promotion of Planning Applications, and where necessary Planning Appeals and promotion of sites through the Local Plan site allocation process. Daniel also has experience of preparing other specialist reports such as Tourism Need Assessments and Housing Need Assessments.

Recent Work
- Advised on and secured a comprehensive full planning permission for the redevelopment of a derelict mushroom farm in Selby, North Yorkshire, to a 168 unit Residential Park Home Estate. In an out of Town Centre location, next to an existing golf course, the redevelopment incorporated the demolition of existing derelict buildings, and construction of a shop/café, 4 lakes, new soft landscaping and improved public open space.
- Sought pre-application advice and obtained full planning permission for 40 holiday units on an underperforming garden nursery site just outside Tenbury Wells, Shropshire. In an attractive area, Planning Permission was granted for the redevelopment of the site, retaining the on-site office and converting it into a café/reception with associated play area and relocation of the access point to improve highway safety. The development was constrained by Flood Risk issues which were overcome working alongside the architects, flood risk consultants and the Local Planning Authority.
- Managed, gave planning strategy advice, and submitted multiple planning applications on behalf of clients with large property portfolios, and assisted in advising on further development opportunities and planning prospects on potential acquisitions. Including, golf courses, holiday parks and residential park home estates. Some applications included complex planning issues such as Habitats Regulations Assessments, European Designated Sites, Green Belt and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
- Advised on different Planning Applications for residential, office, retail, educational, infrastructure and leisure developments; successfully negotiating the applications throughout the planning process to gain planning permission.
