About George
George joined Freeths in 2020 training in both the Commercial Dispute Resolution and Insolvency & Restructuring teams throughout his training contract.
George has a broad experience in insolvency (having also worked for a local insolvency practitioner) covering both contentious and non-contentious matters including: bankruptcy and winding up petitions, administration applications, pre-pack sales, remuneration and extension applications as well as bringing and defending claims brought by insolvency practitioners.
George frequently acts on high-value, complex disputes predominantly in the Business and Property Courts dealing with a wide range of dispute types including breach of contract, professional negligence and partnership disputes.
Outside work George enjoys playing tuba with a local brass band taking part in local and national contests and concerts throughout the year.
