Manisha Rajshakha

Manisha is an Associate in the Restructuring and Insolvency team and based in our Manchester office.

Manisha graduated from the University of Leicester with a LLB Law degree and then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course with MSc in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law in Birmingham. Manisha then joined the firm as a Legal Assistant in the Corporate team in our Leicester office before commencing her training contract. During her training contract, Manisha completed seats across a variety of the Freeths offices. This included the Commercial Litigation team in Sheffield, the Corporate team in Oxford, the Employment team in Leicester and then finally the Insolvency and Restructuring team in Manchester on qualification.

Manisha advises insolvency practitioners, directors, individuals and other stakeholders on a variety of both non-contentious and contentious insolvency matters. This includes experience in obtaining bankruptcy and winding up orders, assisting with the administration appointment process and business sales by administrators, remuneration applications, s.236 and s.366 applications, block transfer orders, advising in relation to technical matters on solvent and insolvent liquidations, and advising on antecedent transaction claims against directors and other third parties.
