Michael qualified in 2020 and joined Freeths’ Leeds office in February 2025. He specialises in commercial projects and his experience includes advising on asset procurement and maintenance, franchising and leasing arrangements, supply contracts, funding agreements and customer/supplier terms and conditions. Michael has spent time working in-house, advising on customer-supplier contracts and terms and conditions for a large UK rail operator.
Michael has particular experience advising transport-related clients, including train operators, manufacturers/maintainers and financiers. Michael has been involved in advising clients on rail rolling stock procurements, franchising, concessions and leasing arrangements.
