Paul Berwick

Paul Berwick is a Principal Manager and head of the costs department based in our Nottingham office.

He specialises in all aspects of Litigation Costs and provides strategic and practical advice, both internally to all offices within Freeths and to external clients, whenever or whatever the litigation or specific costs issue demands, For example costs budgeting [i.e. drafting or opposing precedents H, R & T and attendance at budget hearings], summary assessment [i.e. drafting or opposing N260 etc.] and detailed assessment proceedings [i.e. drafting or opposing bill[s] of costs of all sizes or complexity, drafting or opposing points of dispute or replies and attendance at detailed assessment hearings for either the receiving or paying party] with ongoing advice as to the evolving costs process and / or best settlement parameters.
