About Petya

Petya Koycheva is a dual qualified lawyer, admitted as a solicitor of England & Wales and a member of the Sofia Bar Association in Bulgaria.

Petya specialises in commercial dispute resolution and has experience dealing with a wide range of contentious matters, including breach of contract, company disputes, debt claims, data theft, privacy and breach of confidence. She has a particular interest in finance and technology disputes.

Petya has acted for clients across a broad range of business sectors including IT and digital, banking and financial services, transport and logistics, construction and engineering.

Petya is familiar with all stages of the dispute management process from pre-action negotiations through to trial and enforcement of judgments. She is always happy to advise clients on alternative methods of dispute resolution, such as mediation and arbitration.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Petya completed a doctorate on international commercial arbitration under the supervision of Professor Jason Chuah at City, University of London.
