About Rosanna
Rosanna joined Freeths in October 2017, most recently being promoted to Managing Associate in the Corporate Team in Freeths Manchester office in April 2024. Her background is corporate and banking work and her broad experience covers an array of M&A (ranging from SMEs to larger corporate and institutional clients), private equity (acting for investors, shareholders and management teams), shareholder matters, business and asset sales, banking and finance across a range of sectors.
Rosanna’s M&A work focuses on mid market deals, generally ranging from £2million to over £100million in value and she has experience in a variety of sectors including hospitality, logistics, and tech. Rosanna was shortlisted for Young Corporate Lawyer of the Year by North West Insider in February 2024.

Notable work & expertise
Rosanna has acted on a variety of banking transactions – for both borrower and lender. She has advised on banking matters including traditional high street lenders, including Santander and Lloyds Bank plc. She has also advised smaller mezzanine funders including bridging finance and specialist investment vehicles.
Rosanna has been involved in a number of restructurings, including refinancing and complex funding structures.
Rosanna specialises in development banking and finance and has acted for a number of property investors and developers, particularly in the Manchester area.

- Advising a national construction company on £21m amendment and restatement of existing facility arrangement.
- Advising a hotel business in respect of a £8.9m refinance from Santander UK plc to expand one of their hotels.
- Advising a borrower in respect of a £8m fixed term bridging facility agreement for the acquisition of a site in Manchester
Rosanna has acted on a wide variety of mid market corporate transactions and regularly advises clients in relation to general company, director and shareholder queries. She has acted for both buyer and seller on share and asset deals.
Rosanna works in a variety of sectors, including Real Estate (developers and funders), logistics, food manufacturing and the care sector.

Advised on a US$100m investment into Soho House
Rosanna has experience in advising property funders and developers (particularly in the Manchester area) and including high street lenders such as Lloyds Bank plc and smaller mezzanine funders in relation to funding arrangements, reorganisations, joint ventures and corporate acquisitions/ disposals.
Rosanna has advised a number of leading contractors in the Manchester area on various of transactions and has worked with funders in the construction sector.
