Sam Kharabanda Groom

Sam is a barrister specialising in planning and environmental law. 

Sam has assisted with judicial and statutory reviews in the High Court and with planning appeals in inquiry and hearing format involving a wide range of legal and planning issues. 

Sam has conducted advocacy in his own right at civil and criminal trials and other hearings in the Magistrates Court, the Crown Court, the County Court and the First-tier Tribunal. As well as planning, Sam has experience of social housing law, property law and housing licensing. 

Before qualifying, Sam worked as a judicial assistant at the Court of Appeal. He has marshalled at the Planning Court and the Planning Inspectorate.
