Recent Work

• Stephanie ably represented a Husband who found himself in unusually complex, contested divorce proceedings. Stephanie successfully dismissed the Wife’s contested divorce (Answer) and also secured a costs order in the Husband’s favour.

• Stephanie has successfully represented a client in contested financial remedy proceedings where the Wife sought to resile from the heads of agreement reached at a Financial Dispute Resolution hearing. Stephanie issued a noticed to show cause application and the Judge made an order, as per the heads of agreement, reached at the FDR hearing.

• Stephanie has successfully represented a Mother in complex contested children act proceedings which included a three day fact finding hearing, as a result of serious domestic abuse allegations. Stephanie was successful in securing findings against the Father, which led the Court to make a lives with order in Mother’s favour.

• Stephanie has represented a client with marital assets of circa £7 million. The client’s main priority was to keep the matter out of the court arena and to retain his shareholding. Stephanie was successful in preserving the Husband’s business interests, exiting the Wife from the business as well as defending a spousal maintenance claim from the Wife.
